I’m so glad to hear 3d is dying. I’ve seen a number of movies in 3D, and only 1 that I feel was properly done - Toy Story 3. There were no spikes poking me in the eye, or balls flying at my head. It added depth to scenes, in a _very_ subtle way. The rest have been 3D for 3Ds sake, with nonstop gimmicky taking away from the plot. These Reference Series 4k TVs sound really great.
